Before back and knee injuries, BD was crazy crazy with it.

Stop it. Yes, BD averaged 23 and 8, but guess what his field goal percentage was? 39%. The year after it was 36%. That’s FG %, not 3 Pt %. He was the most inefficient player in the league at that time. Even his assist were mostly off of him playing 1 on 1 and passing it the last second.

We have stats for adjusting players' shooting % relative to Era since it is unfair to compare people playing in different times and rules. Baron Davis was slightly below average for his career in true shooting+ which means that he was around 5% true shooting lower than league average for his career. Which is comparable to AI or Westbrook's efficiency. Yea, Baron Davis was inefficient, but it wasnt anything historically bad.

Baron was electric, I really enjoyed watching him. His snub was about something outside of basketball I think, just cannot remember what.

CP and Deron yeah. J Kidd at the time is debatable. Baron was always hurt so I can see Kidd being picked. But dudes like Gilbert Arenas, Rajon Rondo and Chauncey Billups could’ve did what Kidd did on that team.

​@GOODMuzikBoi JKidd was chosen mainly for veteran leadership as well as his olympic experience. He was the only player who had already won a gold medal at the 2000 Olympics. Coach K and Jerry Colangelo had admitted this during their selection of the Redeem Team. Had nothing to do with production.

​@GOODMuzikBoi, I also noticed you mentioned Chauncey Billups. Just wanted to mention that Billups was next in line to be chosen for the 2012 Olympic team. He was gonna fill the role JKidd did in 2008 as the veteran leader. But when Billups tore his Achilles with the Knicks, he had to withdraw from the team.
