Man imagine how Josh Radnor (Ted) felt when he read the script for the 100th episode. He, the title character and narrator of the show, has a storyline when he gets to see a glimpse of a woman's ankle while NPH, who was originally supposed to be the comic relief in the background of Ted's story, gets a full-on song and dance number that defines the episode. The writers were starstruck by Barney and fell in love with him.
