this song is about the band Her's, who, along with their touring manager, were killed in a head-on collision on the arizona interstate on march 27 2019. both members, stephen and audun, were 25.
the song closes out pet shimmers' 2020 debut album and it is easily one of my top 10 favorite songs of all time.
