Bargaining On This Crazy Market in Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - I visited one of the craziest markets in China Town, Kuala Lumpur. The market is called Petaling Street Market and has a few streets full of stalls selling products. You can find a wide selection of watches, shoes, clothes and purses there.
During my little walk I met people who did not want to be filmed in their shop, which is totally fine :) I went on and tried my bargaining skills. The first thing I bought was a wallet to haggle over. I had lost my 10 ringgit wallet earlier and needed to buy a new one.
Next, I bought a pair of shoes that I could bargain down as well. The guy and his neighbour were pretty funny. While I waited for him to get the right size, I went to the stall across to look for sunglasses. At first he refused to let me in with my camera, but after I made a few jokes, he was okay with it. Funny guy! Here the price negotiation went up and down. In the end, he wanted 40 ringgit, but I would only take it for 30. I was going to put it back and he finally changed his mind. Haha pro bargaining.
From all the buying and tasting, I got hungry and went to get asam laksa, a new food. I let the lady choose my meal by telling her my favourite dish. I was surprised because it was served with fish. Nevertheless, very tasty.
Before heading home, I bought a new Malay football jersey, which was already quite cheap at 30 ringgit, so the bargain didn't work out here haha.
Overall very nice, fun people at this market. When visiting Kuala Lumpur definitely pay a visit!

It is no longer a secret that cities in Asia, including Kuala Lumpur, sell branded goods for extremely low prices at the road side, but only a fool may believe they are genuine. 😂🤣😆
