    Try a different set of tires? Didnt brace and support the frame? Any atv 3 wheeler frame will torque twist with a heavey engine that big, you will still have to add bars and gussets no matter the frame

    most of the time when people do street bike swaps they run a big rear sprocket. it really helps with the torque and keeping the motor in the power better. on my r1 swapped banshee I had a 76 tooth rear sprocket. PBR will make you custom steal sprockets are a really good price.

    Dude, it clicks back there because the chain is too tight and the rear sprocket may be worn out. And definitely get those wheels balanced and some new bearings for the rear carrier. The frame looks like it has plenty of support, or at least for street runs. Bring it to the sand and you'll crack it, guaranteed. Cool run though. I was cringing when I saw your phone come out of the holder. lol

  • @StupidFastJohn

    @StupidFastJohn

    I tried the chain loose, sprocket looks ok. I replaced the bearings back in the 3rd episode with brand new. It got better with the slider. I havent tried chain loose since i put the slider on it 🤙

  • @F5Tornado44

    @F5Tornado44

    4 ай бұрын

    @@StupidFastJohn Yeah, try loosening the chain a little. When you checked it, it was tight with no rider. It will tighten even more when a person sits on it. If you don't have one already, Harbor Freight has a bubble wheel balancer for pretty cheap and it works really good. After you balance your wheels, you can spin the wheel and check the tire for run-out. That will make your speed runs so much smoother (and less hairy). Good luck.

    Hey John, I’ve been watching your vids for years now and Ik you can make a rock run if your really tried so I figured I ask you. I got a 1998 300ex (has reverse) with some issues. I cannot get it to spark and I’m absolutely stumped. Timing is correct, new cdi, new stator, new rectifier, new (used) inhibitor box because it’s discontinued, new coil, spark plug, starter, key switch, kill switch and electric start module, and even a whole new wiring harness. I’ve done my best to check everything over, clean grounding surfaces and make sure it’s all good but I got nothing. If you can think of anything let me know. I love watching the vids as you do a very good job. Thanks

  • @StupidFastJohn

    @StupidFastJohn

    4 ай бұрын

    By "new" cdi stator and rectifier does that mean chinese? Or oem? Because chinese is junk amd itll never run correct on chinese junk. Normally if that is all working correctly, pickup coil gap is .018" and.grounds are good id check the wiring diagram and start jumping out things that will cut the spark out. 🤙 the systems are pretty easy for the most part. Sounds like your missing something simple!
