Find out more about Electric Paint
www.bareconduc...
Bare Conductive’s Electric Paint is just like any other water-based paint… except that it conducts electricity! This means that you can paint sensors directly onto most materials.
When used alongside the Touch Board, an easy-to-use Arduino@Heart microcontroller. It gives you the ability to turn almost any material or surface into a sensor.

    The screen printing is amazing (or the most amazing application to me - as a prototyping application alone imagine being able to think up a circuit - laser cut a template for print and be able to test it straight away - genius!

    Hello, can this carbon paint be used in a Hall measurement setup for creating ohmic connections to semiconductor substrates? Can it be used to create an ohmic connection to silicon wafers as well? Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

    It is interesting that this shows the repair of the contact on the pcb for the remote. Almost all similar products seem to be orientated towards repairing the carbon under the rubber buttons, but I'm trying to repair a synth pcb board with a couple contacts that the buttons touch (or in this case a rubber strip with smaller contact strip on it will touch) that aren't working, so it literally took me months to feel at all confident in making a purchase when looking for what to use for the project. Keeping my fingers crossed this will work for my needs. Great video! Do you have instructions for some of these projects? I will have most of a tube minus a few small repairs on the old synth contact board, and would love some neat things to do with the rest of it. Thanks!

    Is this paint conductivity data is available? How is it depends on the concentration? The resistance of this paint depends on the temperature of the surface? Eg. applicable for detecting heat or sunlight? How the paint affects the human skin? It is applicable to produce wearables eg detecting sweat or change of skin temperature?

    Hello! You can find all the data on the paint here: www.bareconductive.com/make/product-spec-sheets/ But the paint's resistance doesn't depend on heat, if anything, it cracks and is then unable to conduct.

    Hi frizstyler, the paint is connected to the Touch Board, which has capacitive sensors. To find out more about the principle behind the proximity sensing have a look here: www.bareconductive.com/make/what-is-capacitive-sensing/

    can we solder on this paint and also can this be used to fix ripped solder pads on a pcb

  • @bareconductive0

    @bareconductive0

    No, you can't solder onto the paint, it would just burn away. It should work on the solder pads on the PCB.

    hi, unfortunately, it's only available in black. but you can apply the electric paint, seal it, and then colour over it with a different colour.

  • @bareconductive0

    We don't recommend for the paint to be used in applications of more than 12VDC and 50mA, so it's not the same as copper wire.
