Heart touch ing fluite and splender dancing skill... really love it

It is one of the main dance of bodos. These goes on every April month of the year. Representing the festival of joy, it enlightens up the villages with lots of happiness all around. And this dance known as " Bardwi Sikla" is the dance performed by the female participants at the festival known as " Bwisagu". "Bardwi Sikla" is a dance which is held on the last day of the festival. Here, the winner of the dance is called by the name called Bardwi Sikla inorder to represent the thunderstorm which occurs at this month after many winter days.

No words... presented so beautifully, i alws felt like kherai other den bagurumba are all underrated n i think they are also equally beautiful and sud be shown to the public. Energy level of som dancers dropped a little towards the last part but hey its one of the most difficult dance. Loved it totally, please do daosri delai mwsanai also

Loved it. I've been a fan of this dance form since the age of 10 when I first watched it in a live performance in our village. The entire team was from Kokrajhar. Nice performance here. It seems butterflies are marymaking. Loved it.

It's Bardwisikhla ,if you break it down Bar means Wind,Dwi - water ,sikhla - Lady,Hence the name!

The Assamese word 'Bordoisila' is derived from this Bodo dance form. Bardwisikhla is the 2nd most popular dance form of Bodo community after sung dance form 'Bagurumba'.
