Sorry (not sorry) for rambling 😅 Initially, I preferred the old versions more than the re-released versions. I became too attached to them and listening to the re-released versions seemed weird to me... But now, I prefer the re-released versions. Not just to support Mr. Jalapeño, but the changes made makes more sense: 1. In the first saga (and second, I think?), Jay used his own voice to record all the choir's voice, but now, he has a team to fill that part 🥹. 2. In the re-released The Horse and the Infant, it now makes sense that multiple gods were talking to Odysseus. 3. While I still prefer some of the old choir lines, the re-released versions has more emotions, especially in the Cyclops Saga, which is heartbreaking 😭. 4. Speaking of the Cyclops Saga, it's now BETTER than the original! It was my least favorite saga for so long... but now, I appreciate it more because of the emotions and other changes. Although, I quite don't like the "Odysseus!" part when Ody doxed himself to Polyphemus 😬. 5. Our sunshine boi Polites' voice sounds very autotuned in the original versions 😢, BUT in the re-released version of Open Arms, it's much much much better! 6. I miss the harp in the re-released version of Warrior of the Mind 😭. Anyways, again, sorry (not sorry) for rambling, but thanks for the awesome video (and would you mind listening or reacting to Julie and the Phantoms 👀? I promise you won't regret it) 🩷.

If you ever wanted to do a short course on Music Theory I would very much want to attend! My Music Theory teacher in my first year of college ruined it for me. I was always behind after that year because the dude didn't teach properly. I envy those who have Music Theory knowledge because I crave it.

Welcome to the deep dive I plan on trying to do. I just wish I had the ears and writing chops to actually put the music onto musical notation software.

Glad to watch the entire beginning again, I do and don’t like the updated version maybe I just can’t hear exactly the change, low quality gear on my end. But you realize too (not read Odysseus’ story) that each listen you get newer chunks of information, (did you realize in Thunder saga) and all the call backs to previous sagas’ songs. Since you know a bit more information of the source material do you think that (of what you’ve heard) that act 1 should’ve ended with Monster (Rawr rawr rawr) or Thunder saga? Just a thought.

That's a good question. Based on the source material I almost feel that Thunder Saga may have been a better ending to Act 1 as normally most musicals use a giant cliffhanger or reintroduce a plot line. In many ways it does make sense for Underworld to be the end of Act 1 but seeing Odysseus by himself completely is another interesting idea.

@@sunoshecano3837 Yeah, that’s what I was trying to grapple with, is his ideology a better turning point or is him traveling alone* (Oops spoilers*) back to Ithaca better? I’ve been spoiled on small clips, animation snippets and such, so vaguely knowing what’s going to happen, but (not knowing saga titles/song titles. I’d like to ask (I think I already know) but Is Zeus your favorite god from these Sagas, Yes! Zeus’ (Luke’s voice) IS AMAZING! But I truly hope they get this series, or sagas on a bigger stage, then just the internet. Hell I’ve seen people attempt (in animation) Stage plays, anime-like openings, and such good content. This begs the question; 2D or 3D (Live action first)? I scare to think that this would get a ATLA* m- problem, but I know the community is just chaotic and Clever enough to solve most if not a Lot of problems. Last question; since you know what’s ahead are you looking forward to anything in particular? From Voice Cast or animations (You don’t have to answer this one if for spoilers!) but I wanted to ask since, were just starting act 2.

I can tell you that I love Zeus's voice but I absolutely fell in love with Hermes. The interpretation done is fantastic! In terms of what I'm looking forward to? Honestly just having Athena back in the picture soon will be amazing. I love her voice and everything always seems very Kingdom Hearts-esk when she's around!
