Yes, that's Ren playing piano at the beginning! He also composed the music for piano and strings! He directed the video and produced the music/audio. It was live but not quite 1 take. They had to make a cut just before the water, for obvious reasons. Another incredible performance from Ren! :)

Ren states in the song that Jimmy is an exaggerated version of ourselves a version of you a version of me. Truly amazing.

Yeah definitely Ren playing the piano at the beginning. His rings are really distinctive, he said they’re specially made fidget spinner rings to help with his ADHD. Also, there was the very specific line at the end you missed of who Jimmy is. “And his (Jimmy) example is exaggerated versions of me. And it’s a version him. And it’s a version of she. And it’s a version of you, there’s no escaping this blame.”

Jimmy is a fictional but realistic character with elements that sound familiar from other real businessmen. However, I also see a significant connection in the struggle to find acceptance with another fictional character called Jimmy from the rock opera Quadraphenia.

Like the first Money Game and like Hi Ren, and like The Tales, this is more than a song, it's a performance. Bardcore at its best.

Agreed. It was such a performance. HUGE shout-out to the camera man and musicians and everyone else in the video performing. They were incredible.

I love how Ren leaves in all the ambient sounds. You feel like you’re right there with him.

Jimmy is a caricature of "everyman". IMHO.

The song is about all of us playing the Money Game. Jimmy is a character that reflects all of us to one degree or another.

I think jimmy is simply a fictional character created from real people and stories that ren has knowledge of, not a specific person, but maybe people in general, I don't know if I'm making myself clear, my English is bad haha.

Jimmy is a cypher for all of us who sell the only real commodity we have - time - for a paycheck. Most of us are playing the money game to some degree. The real name of Screech in the Tales videos was James. 'Jimmy' is perhaps the same boy if he'd grown up in privelage on the other side of the street.

It's story telling. Fiction. But related to life realities.

Jimmy or Jim can be a diminuative for James. James aka Screech grew up on the poor side of town with no potential future. Jimmy grew up on the rich side of town and was a genius. Not my idea--I heard it from another reacter--but truly interesting comment.

from the enviroment which is buildt in the video tells me a time arround the 50s til 70s but computer programming and stuff like that...its generally a human weakness hes talkin about i guess

Why do you think that this has to be a rl person? It isn't. Ren just has an incredible imagination! It's as if you've never red a fictional novel, seen a fictional tv show, watched a fictional film, or played a fictional game... I do get it, Ren is extremely convincing but Jimmy is an invention of Ren's imagination. :)
