Paradise - lived here 7 years and love it . Most tourists stay near La Rambla (tourist trap - worst part of the city) and judge the city from that. But still mainly good vibes there.

Great advice Kevin Though we think this is a beautiful city you have to be aware of your belongings as in any city in Europe You should have done a hop on/off bus tour as it’s a great way to see & learn about the architecture & areas x👍👍

Never been so on edge anywhere in the world as I was in Barcelona. When I was there it was absolutely mobbed, never been in a place so busy. It just felt like you would be robbed. Honestly feel safer in Possilpark.

Beautiful city but virtually everyone has had or knows people who've been there and had problems with thieves. Someone i know was there with her friends and a gang of lads ran at them and dragged their bags off their shoulders. Having said that, it hasn't stopped me from visiting as it's worth it, lovely city.

Been in the city off Las Ramblas twice. Loved it. La Fonda was a brilliant restaurant at the bottom Inthe theatre area.😊

Kevin, it's a beautiful city . Go off to the side streets lots to see.

Maybe someit to add to your vids, say about the tourist spots, eg cathedredals, boating ports, museums, great watching you johanne from pollock glasgow x

Kevin, get yourself down La Rambla to port area, along to Brecoleta beach and to Ciutadella Park for a few videos. Also, the Plaza Espana with the Las Arenas Bullring shopping centre. You can walk up the Avenida del Paral Lel from the front 👍

One day I'll get to go here. Shame I didn't on my Salou trip.

My gold chain was snatched the last time I walked Las Ramblas during the day

Lots of pick pockets, be careful

We where pick pocketed in Barcelona was distracted in McDonald’s my husbands wallet taken out of is pocket and i was stood behind him☹️went to the police station loads of people reporting thefts have to be honest spoil our holiday x

Barcelona is a beltin city but like you said it’s huge 👍

My favourite city, famous for the unique amazing Guidi buildings, cathedral and park you have to see. The market near the Ramblas is a must.🐟 The Gothic quarter, the English store, 🚠 and so much more

I have a friend there that l visit, so been umpteen times & never had a problem. But l've seen loads.....l don't wear a watch, don't carry a wallet & just have enough cash for my needs. Everybody knows the problem, if you want to make yourself a target then that's up to you, l am of no interest to a thief. Crimes are assessed on a financial loss, so petty crime pretty much doesn't count, the shark goes where the fishes are...

Wonder if it would be cheaper staying in the areas near the airport and get the bus into the city 🤔

Me and my partner didn't enjoy Barcelona to busy to noisy and rude people give me salou anytime

Went there in 1986 , the old man was pickpocketed by thieves masquerading as Nuns of all things . Handing out flowers , he chased the woman up the street and caught her, handed her in to the police who let her go .

Barcelona and Madrid are known as pick pocket central aren't they? Read so many stories.

Went to blanes with stmarys boys club back in 96 and it was horrendous wee guys way machetes stealing your caps 3 of the boys nearly got trampled to death by a mob of a hundred cahsing them we where only under 12s ffs horrible bastards

Barca not my city it rough, crime ridden and large parts are well filthy..outside of the beach and port area it looks 3rd world.

Not a chance Cities are not a holiday place
