Kimmich was word class, but I'm not sure anymore. I watched his game against real Madrid, and most of his passes were back or side passes. It was very frustrating to watch. I don't know how that is going to help us with paying big money for an old player who plays safe passes when we need more creators.

This line up is fire Kevin, and considering the depth in the bench with cubasi, yamal and pedri wow I really want to see this happen

I was thinking the same when I heard that they play kimmich as a rb in bayern. But now that u draw the picture out there.. wow, could be on to something. High risk, high reward. A giant step towards total football. And, i could switch and sauce up the play via switching the positon of players or bring in a diffent profile player from the bench. Lots and lots of possibilities here. And, of course its possible to switch formation a bit if it feels too vulnerable to counters in the big matches..

Playing frenkie as a DM next season is still funny to me we don't learn that's why we get embarrassed Year after year and still more embarrassments to come if we don't get our acts together

This formation is a disaster, it would stand a chance if Kounde was a type of player like Araujo and Araujo was similar to Kounde but no we have a player who can make runs and physically strong to stop defenders and another who lacks that but it’s very good with the ball. In possession one becomes a liability and to defend counterattacks the other is a liability. And don’t let me start with Cancelo I just don’t know why we should keep him anyway. This formation would work but not all the players in this lineup can fit and play in this lineup at an elite level because it would be efficient if they could not lose the ball at world class level and can easily win it back when it is lost. This lineup is just suicidal.

The 3-2-5 is the best option. Playing frenkie and de jong at the same time is redundant. Both of them are literally ball distributors. Kimmich does it with progressive passes. De jong does it by carrying the ball. We dont need both at the same time. And idk how its even possible to bring silva and kimmich and sign cancelo next season if we arent in the 1-1 rule yet.
