I feel bad for Coutinho, he was amazing just almost perfect in 17-18 in Valverde's 4-4-2 system, he thrived under it. The biggest mistake Valverde made was going to a 4-3-3 in 18-19 which made coutinho obsolete. He couldn't deliver on the left and the transfer value of his made things worse. Barcelona wasted one of the best players

He scored in the UCL final, assisted twice in the UCL semis vs Bayern, became a top scorer in 2015/16 for Barca (+ won the Golden Boot), was top assister of La Liga with 9 assists in 2016/17 and second top scorer with 29 goals. He just struggled in UCL for some weird reason. Although it's not his fault that the club was broken. It's a fact now. I don't remember a Barca player scoring 5+ goals in a UCL campaign after 2015, besides Leo Messi. Lewandowski scores 5 last season, and Suarez had like 6 or 7 in 2015/16, or maybe fewer. This just proves that the players are not always the problem
