For the ones wondering why he hasn't come to the first team already, there are two possible reasons (and no, it's not Xavi wanting only spanish players, those who think that are dumb or just trolling madrid fans): -He's an important player for B team, they need him every game to continue the race to get the promotion to spanish second division. That would help not only for players to develop at a higher level, but for other young players for wanting to come here and play for Barcelona to start their careers and shine. -He's very accurate at tackling, but he needs to calm down on some of those tackles and prioritaze the ball recuperation rather than throwing it outside the field. When he gets that composure at not only stoping attacks from the rival, but for getting also the ball and start the posession play, when he will get up to the first team. It mostly gonna happen the next season.

Problem is half these war machines have already been ruined. Look at the state of guys like Fati who were overexposed at a young age and are now held together by tape. With the injuries to Gavi and Pedri this year ontop.

It’s almost like making a child play 100 games of senior football within two years of starting their career ruins a kid and it’s something we’ve known for decades (in comparison it took messi 5 years to hit 100 games for Barca upon making his senior debut). When he goes to first team football he'll frequently get injured if he keeps this style of tackling. Such tackling defenders don't last long enough with their careers and suffers knee problems. Look at Van Dijk he doesn't depend on tackles and he doesn't easily get injured and same was with Pique. Now look at Christian Romero or Koulibally?or even our very own Umtitti...

Problem is he fouls a lot and doesn’t actually win possession that much knocking it out of play for an opposition throw in or set piece rather than getting Barca the ball. Which is a massive flaw for a team trying to play out from the back and works on dominating possession. He’d be incredible for someone playing a old school route one tactic where a defender wins the ball then boots it up the pitch, so an Everton or what the likes of Burnley and Stoke used to be not Barca. If xavi was so pro Spanish and anti everyone else like you claim wouldn’t he have more Spanish players in his starting 11? In their last match they started with just 4 Spaniards, match before 3, 4, 3, 2, 2, 5, 3, 5, 4 E.t.c. If he’s so pro Spanish then how come most games less than a 3rd of the team is Spanish or in perspective using the last ten games which I listed above there was 110 potential starring spots, yet only 35 starts were given to Spanish players.

@@yenkassa I mean they’re not excuses they’re genuine features of his game that need to be improved upon…have you not seen him play an actual match? Kid is incredible physically and his awareness is top notch, but the rest he needs to work on, which hey he’s a literal kid it will come to him Yeah Barca aren’t playing the same Tiki Taka that came about under pep but it’s still a possession heavy style that plays out from the back, legit unless he’s playing for an old school park the bus boss he is currently a bit of a tactical liability heavily limiting what his side can do.

Playing from the back is different is different from making tackles to dispossess opponents. Only thing Rafa Marquez said was that he is over confident and so sometimes is a little relaxed and under estimates opponents.

@@flansroll5913 As an African myself, this has nothing to do with favortism. it is apparent that football is a business and whoever is willing to showcase talent helping the team winning more trophies, and generate income for the club to bloosem will be chosen for the first team. It is true that cubarsi has been picked for the first team, But there is logical reasons behind it, as Cubarsi is a good passer. He had been in the academy in many years, conversely Faye joined recently, and needs more time to adapt, and work on his passing accuracy, crossing and overall ball knowledge to make it to the first team.

Against experienced and players some of those wild tackling will get him sent off also a lot of players injured crazy tackling doesn’t mean your a good defender little more composure to is game and he can become great defender especially in var era where follow through is a red he have to do way better than this
