Honestly I don't see Nico Williams choosing Chelsea over Barcelona. He's Spaniard, has great friends in Yamal, Fermin, Pedri, Gavi, Cubarsi, and Alejandro Balde. Even if Chelsea will pay the same as Barca for his wages, he would choose Barca because Barca project players better than all these English clubs. I am not worried English clubs are sniffing Nico Williams. He will not choose any of them ahead of Barca.

It's too soon for him to get the 10 shirt. It can be given to Gundgan for 2 more years to carry. While Yamal gain more experience and leadership.

The club should not prioritize marketing in the short term over the long term future of Lamine Yamal. The # 10 would add a lot of unwanted and not only that but I think we should sell ferran and give him the # 7 because that is a better fit and just watch him grow with that shirt and create his own legacy also stills..

I don't think Nico Williams wants to go for the biggest money. It seems to me he is a guy of principles and preference. If Barca can pay the 58 million and can agree terms with Williams, he will choose Barca over a soulless club like Chelsea. I think he wants to stay in Spain and play with his Spanish teammates at Barca and do great things. Can't we leave the nr 10 shirt open for one season and decide next year? Maybe Pedri or Lopez will become the real nr 10, in performance and the nr 10 position. 💜💙💜

Unfortunately that might be our only choice because either we can't afford the best wings on the market or we can't pay them as much as other clubs. I'd rather keep him as a backup option until January and then see where we're at, but definitely not as a starter. Look up his stats in the last 4 seasons, he's not played much. He's very young but he's very fragile and every report I see from both the Spanish and English media is he's got anxiety issues, frustration and lack of confidence because he's not playing and he keeps getting injured, which is understandable, but if he can't reach his full potential for whatever reason he has to go. Barça is a professional football club with big aspirations, it can't keep paying millions to a player who doesn't perform. I think he's worth a chance and that's why I say keep him until January as a backup and if he doesn't get injured again and he gets in good form great, but if he doesn't he can leave.
