I've started noticing more and more how some commentators are biases towards fighters. Barbosa fucking destroyed Dan "I always run my mouth and get rocked" hooker and DC and everyone kept praising hooker when he'd do one decent thing while Barbosa is putting on a masterpiece and they don't say a god damn thing about it. I can easily see now why judges could be swayed to give the win to someone who clearly lost.

100% agree. Happened in the fights last night. Dana White program to promote who he wants in future fights. I was waiting for him to blow Gane at the press conference. ;D All about the Benjamins!

You can see the difference in skill almost immediately. His corner had to of known he was in trouble.

These fellas put so much heat on every single strike.

He did a nice job evading the 1-2-3 from BARBOZA...but his hands were low.... all BARBOZA did was repeat 1-2..didn't even get to the 3..and He got him the 2. POIRIER fight CHANDLER fight Hooker in my observation mirrors His training partner IZZY(WHO KEEP HIS HANDS LOW)...but IZZY'S dexterity is next level and He gets away with it more than not. Big HOOKER fan..but I was screaming.. _"Put Your hands Up!"_ During the POIRIER fight.:/ Also a POIRIER fan ....

yes , also he didnt check enough of barbozas kicks round 1 and he circles the wrong way the entire time, should be going to his right as a southpaw to get away from barboza power but circles left the entire round 1

Been using leg kicks since the 80s. Surprised they took this long to catch on. Most people on the street are clueless and zero defense against them. Killer results against a dangerous opponent with good hands. Even great for self defense in real life attacks as well. Love Barboza and glad he won, but damn, Hooker is one tough dude. I wish him the best for all his efforts to succeed. To both of them.

Kicking in a street fight is risky, i'm from Brussel Belgium, it's rainy and concrete all over, ground get slippery you can't get caught with only one leg off the grround. Best way to get tripped and stomped.
