Both of the fashion packs look very high quality and are worth of money. Mattel is doing a good job this time.

I know! I really love these packs. We’re getting 3 more BarbieStyle packs in the upcoming months and hopefully they will be as good as these.

Love your mini call-backs to older dolls (like pregnant Midge). The pink cat's eye glasses look similar (though heavier) than ones on Fashionista #92 with a high blonde ponytail and rose-print dress, maybe that's why you think you've seen them before. Everything in Barbieland gets recycled eventually. Unfortunately, I don't feel these two particular outfits provide value for their exorbitant price, given the rather cheap looking accessories. The Chanel bag you provided is gorgeous and made the Mattel one even tackier.

The bare midriff means this is not "business casual" as most offices would not want the distraction, especially in this time of claiming sexual harassment. It's just a shopping and lunch with friends look. Therefore the baseball cap could work except it's rubbery plastic! Ugh! Why has Mattel switched from cloth to plastic headgear? They all cheapen the clothes and jolt the viewer from the illusion of realism back to doll world.
