Honestly same and not only with this movie. I used to watch the old cartoon series called The Lacets as a kid. It took me some time to find it again online, but wow, those graphics are really really horrible. I had visual memories of some scenes, but apparently also combined with some strong rose-tinted glasses. The reality was not what I remembered, not at all.

I still like this animation and the voice acting is really good! The father voice, just amazing, and his daughter? the acting in that Voice acting is incredible!
