The judgy folks in this community get on my nerves sometimes. It’s supposed to be fun, you know? I knit and crochet Barbie clothes using super small hooks and needles and it is a lot of work! I can see why people who sell their stuff charge a lot. The time commitment is major. Love your content. I put the tennis outfit on a my scene doll. Needless to say the hat did not fit. 😂

I didn't realize how dolls are becoming more articulated in the elbows and knees nowadays. I just wish that they were on the 1/12 scale. And it looks like doll collectors are dealing with the same inflated prices that action figure collectors are dealing with. Great reviewing and I'm enjoying your figure photography. “We play in style” is one of my favourite quotes now, I’m definitely going to start using that! Koi stole the show for me! She is the perfect doll for that fit. I agree that all the jewellery should be cromed (crome is a shiny paint) it looks a lot more pretty and I think it should be a standard for gold label. But other than that, I love these fashion packs!! They are so cute! 😍😍and the dolls you modeled them on made them even better!!

Jul, I’m a new subscriber, but I just have to say that I love you, your videos, and especially how REAL you are about everything! And you’re right - I’m tired of people being angry about how Mattel’s packs aren’t the same price as when they were kids in the 90s…then spending $25+ on ONE item from Etsy or IT. 🙄 However, I do agree that the plastic accessories in these packs are too playline. It was me. I complained about shipping because it’s $7 if they ship 5 dolls it’s $7 dolls if they send you some clothing. I ended up buying that style pack when I got the Ken though… shipping $7 for both together. That’s worth it😂😂 Barbie collectors are cheap. I twitch when things get over $50 but then buy Integrity dolls. But I get it!

I always have video ideas but never go through with them LOL I don't think they understand that the cost of the dolls increases whenever Mattel has to pay a designer fee.

Mattel is a PUBLIC COMPANY worth BILLIONS of dollars. Trust me, they can afford to give their paying customers QUALITY merchandise without "going broke." At the end of the day... Mattel is a CORPORATION first. So they will try to cut corners anyway they can to maximize profit margins. I understand you're a fan of their products, but you might wanna dial back on defending a company that literally cares NOTHING about you. Especially black and brown people.
