That’s kind of the point, sort of a joke/clever marketing for the Barbie movie. Much like Barbie herself, though, the dream houses can also offer a hint of the architectural influences of their time (like how this house was inspired by the many mid-mod ranch suburban homes of the 50’s-60’s), so it’s not all a joke, and can be quite interesting. This is part of a whole longer separate video.
