It’s sad they don’t make stuff like they used to anymore. These clothes are top-notch quality nowadays we have Velcro, whereas the yesteryear generations got actual snapping buttons for the clothes.

The early 60’s are my favorite. The quality and attention to detail was so fine. ❤

Excellent video. I remember seeing the earlier tv commercial for Barbie with this wedding dress. The earlier clothes were like a work of art, with all the detail they put in them.

I recently discovered your channel and I've really been enjoying it! This video really brought joy to my heart because I'm an old lady whose dolls way back when were a 1961 black ponytail and then a 1962 blonde bubble cut Barbie... my sister had a blonde ponytail and then a titian bubblecut Barbie (we had some Kens too, but eh!). Between my sister and me,, we had most of the Barbie outfits available through early '64, and we still have such fond memories of those dolls and their clothes. Even at our pre-teen ages, we knew the clothes were of incredible quality and styling. So it was wonderful to see so many of those clothes in your video, and watch your great commentary on them.

Great video, love all of these alternatives to Barbie. And have a few of these floating around. Fun fact, Dusty was incorporated into a German action figure line, Action Star Hardy renamed Dasty…

My mom was a nurse during the era when they had to wear those white uniforms, complete with white nylons and white caps. She kinda hated it lol

So many of the Barbie outfits are timeless classics. I have two that were designed for Mattell by Oscar De La Renta in the 80s, and they are still gorgeous.

Love! I do love try to buy more brunet and titian bubbles and ponytails. The other day I scored a #3 for 27 dollars in good condition just her eyeliner and lips need touch up. I was so shocked, no one out bid me. I'm thinking about putting my stewardess on her. A few months ago I got the complete piolet for Ken and Sweden outfit with the mug, it's missing the pipe. Any who, love your collection.

The other dress I love next to Barbie learns to cook that I finally found this month, is brunch time/coffee’s on. I have a midge in that outfit and she hangs out with the fashion queen with a bubble blonde wig in learns to cook
