His head looks amazing, he definitely needs an articulated body. Also wish he had longer hair like his fashion pack image.

Actually this one is a second version of the Model 15. The first edition came exactly with a longer hair as showed in the pack image. Mine is from the first edition and is even more handsome.

I finally got both and popped him on a made to move body immediately. The only thing , I’m not a fan of long hair … so that and the product making his hair a helmet. I’m so tempted to wash and cut and style

This Harley is more handsome after having the hair wash! The fashion pack is in a very high quality and timeless as well. It also feels like the Basic Collections is the current Looks Dolls at the time but much better.

Yup. 😊 Bill Greening has said that the Looks dolls are sort of a spiritual successor to the Basics line. Though it’s no way in the same caliber of quality.

@@asherbarbara9 all the new ken dolls look so effeminate nowadays....why don't they make ken look manly...i had to use some gi joe dolls with my female barbies in order for the girls to be paired with real looking macho men...is america now trying to turn men into girls....even with the male dolls...such a shame

Aww thank you so much, Ms. D for always watching my little videos. 🥹 The reason why I made this channel was because I always have a lot to say about dolls and I don’t really have anyone who listens to me. Even posts on Instagram, TikTok or elsewhere can’t really do my nerdy thoughts justice. I’m so glad you always seem interested in my posts, and I’m very happy to impart a little bit of Barbie trivia to you. ☺️ And I know, right? Fashion packs today are a mere shell of what they used to be. I especially loved the collector ones back in the day because it had quality, quantity, AND affordability! 😆

@@Ms.D-loves-minis3 I know what you mean. Wanting to get everything and experiencing FOMO is such a cumbersome pain in this hobby. Personally I’m just trying to control myself too so that I don’t get too overboard. 😅 Don’t sweat about. Let’s all just collect at our own pace. I mean look at me, it took me 13 years to get this guy. But I feel just as happy now than what I would have felt if I bought him when he was new.

Hi! My suggestion for a perfect match to him it's the one I used to re-body mine. It's the Peeta's body (Cathing Fire Dolls 2013). It will suit perfectly! LOVE the fashion pack! I missed it at the time...

Not to be nosy,but how much did you pay for Barbie Basic Male Model no.15? When I got mine, I'd paid $20. I heard that if you tried to get this doll, you would've paid more than 100 bones💰for him.
