This is not as extreme as what it was in ecw in the 90's specially this wrestlers were not tougher than old time extreme wrestlers like tommy dreamer sabu terry funk cactus jack raven sandman etc

My exact thought. I believed they wrestled like they do in high school or college. I didn't even know about death matches until yesterday. Maybe these matches are initiations or how you climb the ladder in pro wrestling. Been learning a lot lately about the sport.

@@frenchtoast9926 I didn't watch wrestling for years, guess I had forgotten the graphic nature of it. Everybody has to start from the beginning I guess. I watched some death matches from Japan, some on indie circuit and I was shocked. Hell in a cell doesn't really compare. Then I found out about New Jack and I don't think he was faking it. Idk, its been like finding out that the Wizard of Oz is just a little man behind the curtain.
