Don't throw shade at the West. The West is crawling with people who have immigrated there from West Indian countries. So clearly the West has great appeal to many who come here to suck off of the riches of America, gain material wealth, educate themselves, etc. But then these same people want to jump up and say ugly things about the West. Without wishing to nit-pick particularly I would say western governments might be more accurate, though there are admittedly a great majority in the west who are blithely ignorant of the truth . I've just come across this video; I'm English and what I see is a BBC journalist doing what they mostly do, which is spread the narrative (or propaganda if you prefer) that the western mainstream media has been educatedand encouraged in, and which at some level they realise it is in their own personal interests to promote . They are the mouthpiece, to a large extent, of the British Government, who themsleves are the cheer leaders for the US government and those who control it, especially in foreign policy matters. For years before he died, Australian Journalist John Pilger warned of the coming war on China - for which the current proxy war in Ukraine is merely the warm -up act. Fortunately there are some in the us and elsewhere who have woken up to what's going on. Whether this will be enough to stop the us (whoever may become president in the future, or otherwise be in government) from starting world war 3 I don't know, but at least there are more of us who have an inkling about this now. I wish you all the best for now and the future.

The journalists don't do research for themselves , she is part of a big team doing a report for the BBC . The best of her can be seen in a series she did on Afrcan history . If you have done any research on China, you would see it's based on a reality rather than a desire . China is a wolf in sheep's clothing . Look at Taiwan . Look on a map where China , America, and Barbados are . Also, look at what Cuba did and the consequences that followed . Would you be happy if your neighbour invited your potential enemy to live with them ?

Prime minister Barbados Motley is an unusual person to bluntly point out outrageously that the US administration and the British dominance of the Caribbean is considered as the slavery , same as to the African countries .. Motley is bold enough to speak out her clear thoughts onto the BBC correspondence in Barbados ..

... "for persons who believe that because we want to be friendly with China means that we are a pawn tells us what they think about us in the first place", The Barbados PM is at a whole another level of intellect and wisdom - The 'Western' powers still retain a colonial/settler mindset, they see others as pawns and do everything to create the dominant narrative.
