finally. this charter is so good bc everyone knows the deathwing, the dark angels need a tank, and he synergises very well with them, plus the way the did his active ability is very smart

Yeah. Azrael is sort of tanky, but he could definitely be better on the defensive (and offensive) end.

Hello Nandi! You are looking on Asmodai from wrong perspective. Of course, Baraquiel gains not that much out of the synergy, but Asmodai starts to shine finally. Baraquiel standing bext to any target triggers Asmodais passive, Asmodai works great with Azraels passive again and designating a target might enhance dmg output of such a group. Thaddeus remains top 5th member in this squad.

When his active is not on cooldown the plasma weapon has range 2 and when in contact with the enemy it doesn't suffer penalties.

I hope DA will be a viable faction. This character looks good on GW & LRE so far. Still watching the vid, but I know it's going to be fire. Thanks Nandi, you are awesome.

Passive description is absolutely wrong. According to it Baraqiel should have 4*150 additional block/damage after blocking 4/5 hits from one enemy.

Doesn’t Azrael’s block buff also buff Varro’s added block? That might make for some major damage reduction.

So many choices, so little time. I’m currently trying to get all my characters up to S1 and my second favourites up to G1. Obviously I want to get my top 5-10 up to Diamond, (but I’ve only gotten Haarkan up that high, although I’m close with Azrael as well).

One small correction; There is a terminator with speed 3. It's Abbadon

Ok, we've finally got a useful DA! It's about time, I'd say. He's not going to be making any appearances in guild raids or on war defences, but his offensive war potential and TA presence are going to be brutallll. I am really excited for him. I love terminators, Sarq has been strong for me, think he will be a beast worth a good investment

Current GW offense team plan is him and Arjac on the front to lure in the enemy. Varro positioned to boost both their block. Azrael and Sarquael touching Varro also but further back than termies Lure in enemies, let overwatch do its work then unleash sarq, bara, Varro, Azrael actives into the likely ball of enemies. Pick a good target and arjac active it. Either this tremendous damage will mash the other team, or weaken them enough to let the terminators outlast the opponent and have bara’s ability go again

Time to grind to get a brand new terminator and when will we get him?

Late reply, but the meta has moved on from multi hit being the best option, and Tjark was never that great anyway. I have him gathering a lot of dust at the bottom of my roster.

Wonder who the 5th Dark Angels character will be. Maybe Belial but it could also be Sammael or one of those new Inner Circle Companions. Another double Terminator faction perhaps?

Making his normal attacks melee only is a letdown. Imperium needs a terminator with ranged, this is just another Arjac reskinned with slightly different abilities. They both have a ranged active and a block related passive, but no ranged attack

That dagger on his belt has got to be ceremonial right? There's no way he'd actually be able to pick that up with a power fist.

Tacticus may be about to end one-hit meta and move into Bruiser/tank meta.

After disappointment of Azmodai, Baraqiel's kit looks interesting.

is this bug or incorrect description of passive: barakiel had 3 blocks from nids but got only 1 stack of bonus instead of 3?

I guess it's supposed to be 1 stack per attacker, not per hit.

More experienced players. Can anybody advise me how can a new account/ new person in the game realistically get the 2 Dark Angels Asmodai and Azrael.

His active looks quite nice, but the numbers on his passive look quite pathetic, though with the DA adjacency buff it's more normal looking.

Nandi I love your content, but hearing you say "bara-keel" throughout is killing me. He's an angel, so you've gotta enunciate the "el" at the end. Either bah-ray-key-el, or bah-rah-key-el.

His abilities don't synch well at all. Deep Strike directly works against two others. Sure, he's got nice armor, but in GR is this REALLY the guy you're going to spend months of resources on? Best for "theme play" (Guild Wars). Dark Angels, like so many others, need a re-work. I'm sure the final DA character will be Ezekiel, and he'll be a shell of what he is in lore.

His design synergizes with Sarquael and Azrael. Sarquael gives him pierce ratio on his cannon against a chosen cluster of targets, Azrael gives him added block chance and effect.
