not his best years, fs. Tons of mistakes and battling injury. I always wish he stayed up for longer than a season to show what he could do. I think he looked best on that Suzuki challenging that Outdoor title from Dungey when he clapped himself out at thundervalley. Either way to me he’s an absolute Legend.

Stew didnt do well on Yamaha because MTV got a hold of him. By the time he got back in groove the talent had caught up with his raw talent through Alden Baker. Being as fast as Stewart was now possible with the right training. Millsaps for example. If Stewart dis not take that MTV deal and stuck with the intense Aldon Baker program towards the end of his career he would have dominated every one for years.

Changing from 2 strokes to 4 strokes is really what hurt James Stewart the most. No one could ride a 2 stroke the way James could.

But instead he road with disappearing flames, shame hey but I'm a big fan!!!
