Another excellent lesson , with great explanation, thanks. 🙂 I might even get the hang of this one day… The sheet music/ course is worth every £ penny! (minor irritation that the bank charges me an exchange fee from euros 😠) Each lesson is well paced. So much to absorb though - you are relentless - or should that be rootless?? 🎶 🤣🤣

Great tutorials Christian. I got the PDF of the lessons and they are very valuable. Why don't you go a step further and make a lesson and PDF explaining how you harmonized the exemples you choose in these lessons. That would be the Nirvana. I am buyer !!!

Thank you! I am not sure what you mean, cause the chords from the songs are not by me, but straight from any song book. The examples from the non song examples are not magic, but straight and quite common chord progressions. ;)

@@ChristianFuchsBlues I was trying to understand the chord progression in the first example, Over the rainbow, where there are many chromatic chords. But maybe I should limit myself to relativity and quantic theory and not try to understand everything in music. Thanks Christian, you make a great job !

Ah, yes that's the only reharmonisation I do, but you explained it yourself already. Chromatically approaching a chord, mostly from top. That's the whole thing already. Try it: Approach any major 7th chord from it's right neighbour (but with a minor 7 ) Like going from Db7 to Cmaj.
