Alot of you don't realize is that the man that was baptized on the video is no longer with us. He passed in 2010. He was a great guy and a devoted father. And All I see are a bunch of snide comments. When u don't like something scroll past it. Silence is not only golden buts it's appreciated. It was funny and was a celebratory moment.

Man, only those who were eager to get baptized on their baptism day will understand that all the things that went "wrong" don't even matter. What matters is that you were baptized. The day I got baptized, the water was freezing but I was so excited! I didn't fall or anything funny, but I was baptized and that's all that really matters.

i just want to say this is my father a wonderful man of God that knows how tip perform a baptism. You had to be there to understand why there was laughter.. The man in the video was a broken vessel. straight from the streets. He came to our church broken but left healed and having a true family. He was a fun loving and funny person. .we take baptism seriously but we also know that it just a symbol to the world that we have accepted Christ as our personal savior. we are a loving close knitted family in Christ and we laugh and love people back to life..and as for the pool of choice we use what we God had provided until he elevates us to the next thing.. people can be judgemental and forget about the souls. john the baptist baptized in the river.. That water was dirty its not about the water its about the commitnent to the lord and their proclimation of a changed way, being made new. We show the they baptism the identification of who we serve... The young man in this video has since passed away. He is the one that uploaded the video he was so proud that day.. he wanted the world to know... This was no bsptism gone wrong this was a blessed time in the lord. rejoicing and celebrating in this mans profession of faith. ... words from one who was standing there witnessing this great time.

HOW SHOULD WE BE BAPTIZED? HOW is a believer to be baptized? Immersion in water is the only scriptural method of baptism. ln Matthew 3:13-16 and in Mark 1:9-10 we find that John the Baptist needed "much water" for baptism. In Acts 8:38-39 we are taught baptism by immersion. In Romans 6:3-6 we see that baptism must furfill three types: death, burial and resurrection. It is also referred to as being "planted", and being raised. It is not difficult to see that the only mode of baptism which fulfills all these pictures is the immersion of the believer in water. Furthermore, scriptural expressions such as "much water" (John 3:23), and "down both into the water" (Acts 8:38) are very conclusive evidence that water baptism is by immersion. IN CONCLUSION We understand and believe that baptism is not a "sacrament" that imparts saving grace, but an ORDINANCE. We are not saved by baptism, but by faith in Jesus Christ and His blood..."cleanseth us from all sin" (1 John 1:7). Baptism is the outward symbol of what has already transpired in the heart of the one who has trusted the Lord Jesus Christ for full salvation. Have you taken this first step in your walk with the Lord? Have you been obedient to the word of God concerning this matter of believer's baptism? In Acts 2:41 we read, "Then they that GLADLY received his word were baptized..." What is your response?

Read my book Francine Harris How to Receive The Holy Ghost there is a chapter in there that explains how to be Baptized and filled with the Spirit of God found on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles. I also have the scriptures in my book to prove what I,ve said as well. You should be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins. On the other hand if you have not repented you just went down a dry sinner and came back up a wet one. Father Son and Holy Ghost are titles nota name and a prepositional phrase

@Juan Latin, they're not supposed to baptize in the name Jesus only. It has to be exactly like the bible says and how the apostles did it, Jesus Christ or Lord Jesus. Why? The name Jesus has to be hallowed (seperated) from all other names, because there is more than one Jesus in the bible.
