Baohong paper is often overlooked and underrated. I started with Academy grade but now use their Artist grade. It's lovely to work with and affordable.

I ordered a fat Baohong block the other day. It's a damn fine alternative to Arche$.

That is some of the best WC paper one can buy. I use Baohong all the time & prefer it to my Arches. I tend to get the artist grade but the Academy is just as good, imho. I even have Baohong Academy WC Sketchbooks (Hot & Cold Press) 😊 It’s outstanding paper. I believe , could be mistaken, it’s being sold by Medeen also these days. Crazy underrated, outstanding paper.

Good you reviewed Baohong both academy and artist. I have been using them for years. i personally and based in experience find them better than arches 😊. The artist grade i believe is almost the same except for the price 😂

I wish Arches made a small pad like this!
