There is no seaweed on this beach. The seaweed is more prominent on the Cancun side. These waters aren’t as rough and don’t bring in the big piles of seaweed like in Cancun. Hope this helps!!

How long is the boat ride to the beachfront suite? Do you need to request a boat to get back to the entrance?

The boat ride is short. Less than 10 minutes. No, you can’t take the boat back. The boat ride is just something they do as a welcoming. You can either request a golf cart, take a bicycle that they provide or just walk back. Most people take the golf cart. I hope you enjoy your stay at Banyan Tree!

Is resort fee 750 you mentioned per night on top of the nightly rate or just 750 per stay?

Breakfast, room service and/or dinner can range from $80 to $100 each time for two people. The food prices are the same at every restaurant and for room service. I hope you have fun when you go!!

How deep was the plunge pool on the balcony?

It wasn’t that deep at all. I’m about 5 feet and it was up to my neck. I hope you go and have a fun time!! 😁

Is each room assigned chairs on the beach? If that's the case, it would certainly lessen the anxiety about having beach chairs available,

Yes, you are correct, if you are staying on the side where the beach is. Some rooms are not on the beach. So it depends on what area of the resort you are staying in. It would be good to call and check if your room is along the beach before booking.

Any way uber eats delivers 😢 also, how come you didnt switch rooms bc of the shower situation?

No I highly doubt Uber eats delivers. Not really sure they even have Uber in Mexico, sorry. And the shower started acting up on the last day in the morning before check out. It was really weird. I hope you have a good trip if you go to Banyan Tree!!!

Yes, it was $750 USD for the villa with its private pool and also private sections of the beach. However, there are smaller rooms without the extras. I think the cheapest room was $300 a night which is pretty good for such a nice resort!
