As a general rule, I don't like "C" movies, the actors seem to be reading from a script but the storyline here interest me so I guess I will continue watching, even though I saw a familiar Aerial Telephone cable in the background in one of the scenes but I can ignore that, I am a retired Telephone Man!

I stayed for about 30 minutes. The sunset scenes are better than the writing. The reading of the script sounds like the director was in a hurry to go home and he accepted the first read through by actors who were capable of a reading level of about 4th graders who needed to take a few seconds to figure out the big words. The make up causes the people to look like today's people dressed in newly sewn costumes. It's just all wrong. Once in a while the a few of the "actors" mess up from their usual reading style and say a line almost like real people might. Some of the vocabulary seems way off for the time period. The actors don't behave in a believable way. They make gestures too often part of the time and fail to make a gesture when it would have been appropriate to do so. The plot is interesting and it might be picked up by a writer some day and a good crew might make a movie I could watch. This movie is a cut below some of the less than lack luster spaghetti movies I watched all the way to their ends. Even so, this movie crew did a better job than I likely would have. ((-:

My goodness, did the characters all walk straight out of church and into shot wearing their "sunday best"? What a joke, and how unrealistic. I have never seen a movie like this before. Does it even rate a 'C'? I would question that. Completely unrealistic. Stilted dialogue in the wrong language (modern american) eg...near the start, he did not 'come back' as stated, he would have "returned". Many in those times had a better grasp of the language than it appears today if that is an example. Oh my goodness, just look at that squeeky clean hair blowing in the breeze..... 6:35 I am out.

Boring!
