Bannerlord Tactics: Companions in Blood, Volume III: Siege Redux (40 warriors besiege a castle!)
Welcome back future Khans, Emperors, Jarls and Sultans of Calradia! We're continuing to show our late-game campaign including huge battles, and winning(most) of these battles by deploying advanced tactics to overcome superior enemy forces. Our entire channel is dedicated to helping players improve their field command and if that's your desire, or just want to see huge, dramatic battles, you've come to the right place.
This small side series is a branch from my main, extremely late-game campaign in which we explore the destructive killing power of an ALL COMPANION army. Most companions are highly advanced killing machines and some are practically gods of war, so let's fire this up, take on some foes and see what this nasty force can handle. This is episode 6 in the series.
This channel and series of battles were the result of my crazy war against all of Calradia in which army after enemy after assaults out small Kingdom and our small forces dig in, fight back and give it all they have got.

My campaign is an extremely late-game campaign where I am resolved to give no peace to these scum Kingdoms attacking me - seven of the eight have been at war for years, with only Sturgia at a neutral stance. My family of warriors is now large though and with what remaining strength and valor we can must, we stand against the map of Calradia.

Lord Retinue Uptier(Makes the enemy forces stronger, much less peasants and lower ranked troops)

Improved AI Troops(Also makes enemy lords and their armies tougher by giving them a higher daily xp rate. This means you'll routinely face armies with HUGE numbers of the highest tier units, sometimes four or five times the normal amount in vanilla Bannerlord): www.nexusmods....
Death for all: This mod allows you to set the rate at which nobles die more often. I want both a harder challenging late-game but also a more realistic game. If you're cut down with a massive aserai two-handed axe, you shouldn't just be injured 99.9% of the time. It's a very customizable mod so you can just a little more death or set the death rate so high you get several deaths every battle. The number I often like is '10', some deaths but not a massacre of nobles...

I also use the Dismemberment Plus Mod: It's highly customizable and works seamlessly with the new beta(and versions back to 1.28). I thoroughly recommend it if you enjoy carnage!:

I've also used Realistic Battle Mod in the past and highly recommend it for Ai and battle realism BUT I find the pace too slow for my taste and the AI is actually rather predictable after a half dozen battles. Still I wanted to put a plug in for it here, it's a GREAT mod and highly configurable. www.nexusmods....
Much of the music and inspiration for this and other videos in the channel are inspired by Epic History TV - probably THE best channel on youtube(and the internet for that matter) covering the Napoleonic wars. With amazing work Epic History TV takes you through the dramatic and incredibly story of Napoleon covering all of his most famous battles. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I'm not willing to try a companion only, even with these 40 because it would be sooo hard to hold a keep. The Peasants rebellion campaign though has been super fun, very hard, yet doable, sorta lol...
Great series. It's really smart of you to build up slowly. I think that was a big mistep in my series. I showed what my clansmen could do too early and now it's hard to find an opportunity it top achievements. I'm always excited to see your new episodes. Keep it up Bud.

Thanks mate, the hope too is that with time(and a few reloads!), I can take on even more gnarly challenges with these companions and the difficulty number will increase with the challenge.
Nice! How do you have so many companions? Is this a mod? How do you level them up to that level? The leveling system for companions is slow, and my companions die before they become good, let alone overpowered.

His campaign is like 70 game years deep and he has been playing the same game with spin offs for series over more than a IRL year. I have not played for that length of time but with the right perks my party leader can do 50 as well. Also as family members are born they come out with a combination of their parent’s stats so on a second or third generation you can start getting some OP family members. Combine that with Legendary gear and weapons and they become small armies to themselves. That being said, having watched almost all of his series, he had lost quite a few on the battlefield.

Yep, it's a 60 or 70 year campaign, mostly contrived, in other words I have allowed it to go on that long by declaring war against all the kingdoms except my own. That means that I have three generations of grandchildren running around marrying wives and of course constant war leading to very high level companions. There's no mods that affects the companions

It's not a mod but my campaign is some 60 or 70 years old so these are grandsons and granddaughters of the original character.

I'm in an extremely late game campaign and aserais probably the most dominant Kingdom with about 15 cities and they've spread all the way up to sturgeon territory
