BANNERLORD but I Become the KING OF VLANDIA!

This is the seventh episode of a series where I play as a lone soldier of the Vlandian army in Mount and Blade: Bannerlord!
The goal in this playthrough is to climb from the bottom to the top in the Kingdom of Vlandia, starting as recruit and joining the army to become glorious knight of Vlandia! And maybe even... THE KING!

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a strategy action role-playing video game developed and published by TaleWorlds Entertainment. It is a prequel to Mount & Blade: Warband, a stand-alone expansion for the 2008 game Mount & Blade. Bannerlord takes place 210 years before its predecessor, with a setting inspired by the historical Migration Period.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a strategy/action role-playing game. The fundamental gameplay premise is the same as previous entries in the series: the player builds up a party of soldiers and performs quests on an overhead campaign map, with battles being played out on battlefields that allow the player to personally engage in combat alongside their troops.

Battania gets what they deserve for trying to take Tristan's castle! Very unfortunate that good king Dethert fell to that looters shot. Curiously I heard at the tavern that the crossbow was of very fine make for a looter, very curious.

Finally Tristan outmatched his own father. He's so kind and respectful that even he brought the crossbow wich one his last king was killed to the siege to rise the moral of his men. Long life to King Tristan!

Truly a man chosen by God, how could Derthert be so weak as to fall from a mere looter, what a waste of a kingdom. BUT NOW! NOW is the time of Tristan of Lionheart! NOW is the time for Vlandian blood to subjugate ALL of Calradia! In the name of Lionheart!
Lmao I love how you didn't even wait for the battle to start you just rode up infront of the king and all his knights and shot him in the face.
The butter/feast comment by Tristan at the end proves that lore-wise, he's an ancestor of King Harlaus

It makes sense too cause Harlaus has the same lion sigil as Tristan, unlike Dertheth whose is slightly different (his lion holds a spear, unlike Harlaus or Tristan)

At long last, Tristan was finally a monarch. But much to the surprise of historians today, he simply ate butter and beer until he died, which had lasting consequences upon both the mental and physical health of his entire bloodline. Now, all they can taste, hear, smell,. and feel, is butter.
Now maybe make a mongol invasion on bannerlord ? 🤔 Glorious kingdom of mongols from the steps only archer cavalry will rule the all world !

The king gave Tristan a sword named Sentinel. A sword whose name means a soldier whose purpose is to stand and keep watch. Some might say that based on Tristan's actions, that it was an ironic name. But if you ask me, it was a fitting and prophetic name. For when the king proved himself a tyrant, Tristan did what was necessary to save the kingdom from the mad monarch. A stalwart watchman and defender against corruption. All hail King Tristan dey Lionheart, Sentinel of the People!

This is a momentous day! Yet sadly a most terrible one indeed. Though Derthert was corrupt and filled with malice, no Vlandian -- even one as unloved as him -- should fall in battle to a stray bolt!
