The thought of being in this prison and basically a lot of foreign prisons is truly terrifying, I know the central American ones are really awful 😱

Get a prescription from the prison doctor.

With countries like this you need to be really careful that your personal medication doesn't run afoul of the law.

At this point I'd even say, just... Don't go in any other country if you're on medication at all. It just takes one mistake, or one person who doesn't like you, and you're stuck in prison for who knows how long.

As a long time subscriber, I really enjoyed this video! Great pacing and the right amount of humor at the right times. Well done! I first learned of this prison from American Dad... Didn't know it was a real place. They depicted it much nicer than what reality shows, however.

I always thought that people caught with drugs were idiots. Until I visited Mexico and was hanging out on a quiet beach in the evening. Some police with guns approached and demanded money. We asked why, they said because we had drugs. We said no we didn’t and they pointed their guns at us and told us that we would have drugs on us if we didn’t give them money. Bit of an eye opener!

It is a super safe country to visit. You will never feel threatened anywhere. (except the roads - they are dangerous). Don't do drugs.

I'd love to see more geographics on Thailand to be honest. My heart longs to go back. Too poor.

I've read a lot of books about this hellish place & not one has mentioned getting veg with their rice , more like an Inedible fish head broth with balls of rock hard dirty rice.

This episode reminded me of the movie Brokedown Palace... sad movie. It also reminded me of the Sheriff in the Amazon tv show "Wayne"😂 When he fights the evil step dad. He takes off his shirt and shoes, and was all tatted down with Thai prison tatts. And proceeds to explain to this guy how he learned Mui Thai in prison, in his many fights to the death... he then commences to fukin evil step dad up. 😂

Okay so from what I know from when I went to Thailand, always have bribe money. Keep an extra $400 American on you. Somehow. Bribes ain't cheap but Thai jail is scary

I saw on a different video filmed inside of the prison that the Americans only do 7 years I believe and then get sent back to the states. Not sure how true this is.

Nice one Karl (except for the Moo-ay thigh, It is pronounced Tai. Like the country; Thailand). Well done on the king's name. Damn near perfect. I live here for a good while now. Do not mess with drugs kids.

While I have no interest in ever visiting Thailand, and no interest in using or trafficking in illegal drugs, this should offend the conscience of anyone who views this. Long story short, don't visit any country that brutalizes its prisoners.

I don't get it, this video it's like we should sympathize with whose prisoners. They are in there for a reason. This how prison should look like, not like those in for example in Sweden.

The purpose of prisons is to house and rehabilitate. Rehabilitation means less chance of the crime being committed again

I really like this, and I'm a big Simon fan, Karl is different, but give him a chance. I like him. He has worked with Simon, and he left on good terms. The owner died, and the daughter needed time to get over this and couldn't keep up with the channels. So give it a shot you can like Karl and still love our Simon. And now, when people ask where he is, I tell them Danny escaped and locked him in the basement and were planning a rescue now 😂

I did give him a chance, and after 5 minutes, the voice got on my nerves. He isn't calm and soothing, he doesn't speak clear words. If I liked him. I'd follow his actual channels
