Funny how you still lost the life.

I remember I once drowned in Clanker's Cavern, but just as the death music started, Banjo's head reached the surface and I manage to continue playing. I lost one life though.

0:17 sounds like "Good bye" or "you died"

This is actually hilarious! Banjo is like, "Death, eh? Nah, nah. Tis only a minor scratch. I'm all good! Let's keep moving!" What a legend! 🤣

I've just completed Banjo Kazooie on Xbox 1 last week and this level Clanker's Cavern is really fun to explore but the noise of Clanker going up and down the water creeps me out it sounds like something from Silent Hill. I didn't know you can do this glitch thanks, I will have to try it out next time 😁🎮

Nice, I can explain too, it’s because when you fell into clanker’s blowhole you triggered another loading zone before the game loaded up you dying and sending you back to the start but while you did die and the game still counted it as a death you ended up in clanker instead 🤣

Takes a life, but level flags are not reset

This level doesn't have too many enemies outside Clanker's body.

just another reason to love Clanker

since you still lose a life, does something special happen when doing it on zero lives? or you still get a gameover once spawned inside?

Nah, it just refills your health and you're still at 0 lives

I did a glitch on crash bandicoot 2 cortex strikes back where I got 104 lives

This happened to me once. Could it happen with any other loading zones

Specifically, this only works with Clanker's exterior loading zones and the Sharkfood Island loading zone in Treasure Trove Cove (I have a video on that). If you take damage into a loading zone in Banjo-Kazooie, it deactivates. This and the other loading zones I mentioned don't have this property.

I'm curious, if this were on 64 would the notes still respawn?

The notes would still be collected since you're skipping the death animation.

actually you still lose a life but you don't restart the level so you don't need to collect the missing notes

My definition of dying is being returned back to the beginning of the level with the notes/level flags reset

Do you still get a Game Over if you try this with 0 lives?

Nah, it skips part of the death animation, so it spawns you inside Clanker with full health.
