Yoali Perez basically BTS receive a lot of racism especially from the states and western media tends to looks down on them for being Asian. They’ve been robbed of so many awards and opportunities because of some of the Xenophobic people. Lots of people in the states or in the west in general don’t like musicians that don’t speak English dominating charts. It goes back to the xenophobia I was referring to earlier. When Halsey said what she said it was really sweet because she’s saying that not everyone in the states are self centered and ignorant. Instead she’s implying that they’re are a lot of respectful and good people in Hollywood who pay attention to raw and real talent. Not clout chasers who only use BTS for views and clicks. She’s trying to help the boys feel comfortable especially since they’re not used to being in the states and can’t speak English(besides rm) it goes to show that Halsey is a real friend of BTS and respects them for their talent and not using them for clout. Btw this is just my opinion sooo yea
