After hearing about shinee's jong hyun's passing, i'll never be able to look at another idol who's smiling and laughing and see them to be happy, i'll always be wondering if they're truly happy and not tormented and dying inside. Jong hyun's death should wake us up, should alert Korea's entertainment industries and their whole entertainment system. I'm not going to blame anyone for his death rather I want everyone to learn from him, I wish for idols to see and realize that they don't have to be perfect and they don't have to be better than they already are, they don't have to keep beating themselves up and torturing themselves. As a kpop fan in general, i hope all the lucky fans who ever get to see their idols in real life, tell them this, "You've done a great job and you don't have to beat yourself up to be better, everyone is different and unique and we love you for who you are, take time to enjoy, live and be relaxed. Don't forget that we're here for you and that under no circumstances are you alone, 'YOU ARE NOT ALONE' you did well and if you need to talk to someone, please talk to your family and friends, don't hold it in, 'TELL SOMEONE WHAT YOU FEEL' and never ever regret your decisions" Please all kpop fans, reach out to your idols and hold their hands, make them stronger, help them live, all the stupid rules and heartless comments should stop. Especially, members of a fandom, let your idol be happy, let them date, let them marry, let them take a break, let them do what makes them happy, they are not our toys to do whatever we say, just because we pay for concert tickets and buy their merchandise does not allow us to rule their lives, please let them live happily and not just be happy and smiling for the camera or the fans. This is my sincere advice and I wish that all idols will know that they're not alone and that they've done well and we're proud of them.

종현오빠 데뷔때부터 샤이니와 종현 오빠의 노래를 정말 좋아했던 한명의 팬으로서 너무 가슴이 아파요.. 공식활동까지는 못했다고 해도 처음으로 진심을 다해 진지하게 좋아했던 아티스트 였던 만큼 난생 처음 공방활동도 뛰어보고 오빠들 콘서트 가고싶어서 안달내면서 처음으로 가본 콘서트랑 팬싸인회 그때 힘들다는 저에게 종현오빠는 괜찮아 잘할수있다는 말을 건네줬었는데 왜 저는 오빠의 미소 안에 가려진 슬픔을 눈치 채지못했을까요. 현재 저도 우울증으로 치료를 받는 사람으로서 오빠의 유서를 읽자마자 그냥 아무런 생각도 나지않고 그 마음이 뼛속까지 이해가 되면서 눈물 밖에 흐르지 않았어요. 항상 오빠들 노래 들으면서 학창시절을 보냈고 기쁘거나슬플때도 항상 듣곤했는데 이제는 제가 못나서 아직까지는 샤이니와 종현오빠 노래를 못듣겠어요. 들으면 눈물 날거 같아서 어제가 제 생일이였는데 제가 태어난 날 내가 좋아했던 한 져버렸다는 이생각에 태어나서 가장 슬프고 지울 수 없는 하루가 됐어요.. 여기서 아프고 힘들었던 만큼 하늘에서는 오빠가 하고 싶은 음악 마음것 하면서 마음 속 깊게 진 응어리 하나하나 위로받으셨으면 좋겠어요. 지난 10년간 늘 고마웠고 사랑했어요. 그리고 수고하셨어요. 여기다가 이런 멘트 남겨서 죄송해요.. 그래도 꼭 어디서라도 이렇게 하고 싶은 말을 풀어보고싶었어요..

this just proves that idols are also human beings and are capable of being hurt all the time. I remember years ago when fans torment him with hate after his dating news with Shin Sekyung. I watched a fanvideo before where he bowed after a performance just cause he was dating. So sad. Korean fans should be happy their idols are dating. They should have been happy when Jonghyun was happy dating. I blame those fans. urgh.

I pathetically hope it was not him, mistake with another with the same name. But, none deserve to be in that pain. Well, Jonghyun already recover and forget all his pain now. I believe he is

This is the public side of the morning, a chance for fans (albeit in a different location but at the same hospital) and people from the industry to pay their respects. Notice this is filmed indoors, with plenty of hospital staff standing around. If press were not welcome, they would have kept them out. They know the public will demand to be part of this somehow, and they probably chose to publicize this so that there would be less attention on the actual funeral service. If you see videos of that being uploaded, yes, that is not appropriate, but this is obviously authorized for release.

Once again people it’s just film showing who is there and what’s going on. I don’t think that’s any bother to his family as they are probably near his casket or in another area. Hikari Singer they released a statement saying it will be open to fans to pay final respects on the 19th. I agree though

His official funeral will be in a couple of days, this is a public memorial his family set up for his fans to say goodbye and wish him well

Remember that Korea is very media focused and this is a public memorial and the family allowed for cameras. If not, the cameramans would have easily been kicked out but they weren't which shows that they had permission to film outside the room.

샤이니팬 아니고 워너블이지만 샤이니 데뷔했을때 초등학생이였고 초등학생때부터 지금까지 샤이니 노래 자주 즐겨들었던사람인데 샤이니 종현이 사망했다는 기사랑 사람들이 남긴글 유서보고 울었는데 가족이랑 팬들은 얼마나 마음이 찢겨나갈까요.. 젊은나이에 너무 안타깝네요 삼가고인의명복을빕니다.
