In our country🇧🇩🇧🇩 there is #96%_quotas in Primary Education job, #85%_in Railway job 56% in BCS IS it TOLERABLE!!?? one freedom fighters having at least 20 grand children all of them are privileged by quota in school, University and job even in promotion.

The two cases are different. In BD case, the ruling party use quota to hire students who were politically affiliated with the ruling party. I am sure you don't know about student politics because nowhere in the world students participate in politics actively instead of studying and preparing for future. In India, quota is necessary to help the lower caste people and also minorities who have been persecuted for hundreds of years to get to the position of decision making process

Government will have to lean one day for sure but here in India on this many agrees that this is dumbass system no logical basis like not related to income or physical disabilities . The basis of reservation is stupidest mediaeval non scientific caste system . But they(the one who is getting benefit) don't want to give up on those privileges and yearning for more . Some Rss slogan was like this reservation based on caste will remain in the system till the date not even single will be discriminated on caste how will this happen when the system itself discriminate on the basis of caste on documents in Jobs,scholarships, educations . Dr. Br Ambedkar had burned books in which stigmatised caste system had its imprints. Why he did that ? To abolish the fundamental from where the injusticable caste mentality had originated . Until/ unless this system is recognised on paper in their work, there cannot be an end to this .They can uno-reversed as they did by introducing it into system .

As a son of a Freedom fighter, I personally do not want this quota either. My father fought for the country yet never took any govt. benefit nor asked for anything in return. He's no longer with us but he taught us to be just towards everyone. I do not deserve no do I want any privilege or recognition. Only disabled individuals/citizens should be allowed within quota, no one else. Only merit should be the qualification.

As a Bangladeshi citizen. I want to boycott quota system.

I am from Bangladesh and I am Against these qouta systems, 10% is good but 50-56% is discriminatory. Also 20-30% of the freedom fighters alive today are fake. Cause how can be a freedom fighter 50years old,wherous Liberation war happened 52 years ago? Many of the Brave fighters martyred during the war. We fought Pakistani military because of discrimination and oppression Against us, unfortunately current qouta system giving us the same memories of these horrible days.

These protests occured in 2013 in 2018. and now again. Today police attacked the students with bullets. Injuring 20 of them. The qoutas are given to pro govt. people. And the Freedom fighter certificates are mostly fake. And are distributed among pro hasina regime. So the protests are for long time. The govt promises to stop but then starts again. 😢

Bangladesh reservation system is not like India, there is no so called caste system since they're mostly muslims Here in India caste system made worse things to some classes atleast educate yourself before supporting 😂😂 They're right to remove reservations but ur wrong in India

They are using quota for multiple times like medical & university admissions exam ,also for jobs ,in the end they use quota also for promotions.

​​@@swastik6705 There is an important things to know here that the government forcefully brought the grandsons of the freedom fighters under the quota where the grandsons have no contribution in the liberation war and also the quota benefits are going on among the children of the freedom fighters.. In Bangladesh a quota can be used multiple times. If a freedom fighter has 5 children and each child has 2 children, then the total quota of that family will be 5*2=10 (grandson quota) + (10+5)=15 (including freedom fighter's children). The state is already providing adequate allowances to freedom fighters and their families and their wife's.

Even great-grandchildren of freedom fighters are still using this ridiculous system!! See how absurd this is: A freedom fighter has 3 children. Those 3 had 3 each so 9. 9 have 3 each so 27. Against a single freedom fighter almost 30 people get benefits!! If we let this go on then in a decade or two a new strata no caste of people will emerge. Who will have privilege of being entitled to all the opportunities and advantages by the virtue of birth. Our ancestors will roll in their graves if they knew we reverted back to the evil of caste system again!

Not a single indian raised their voice against quata system in india and we say we are on the way to be superpower...😂😂 new india 😂😂

I don't understand the logic behind reservations. It's like saying that we should increase reservation for dark skinned people because of fair and lovely ads and colourism. How are quotas going to reduce discrimination when you are giving them pass with less 50% marks in an exam? It's going to increase more discrimination and divide.
