There are many documentation of various groups who have migrated to America and their stories. However there are no solid documentary of the Bangladeshi immigrants who have lived here since the 70's till now.
One of the reasons I am doing this project is to tell the untold story of those who have struggled, sacrificed and continued their life here in the States. Many of our younger generations are unaware of their immigrant roots in the United States and what their elders have gone through to provide an alternate life for them.
Your contribution will help me finance the expenses that will be needed for us to make this documentary happen. The funding will enable me to build the production team that I will need for this documentary to be completed. My ultimate goal is to submit this documentary to film festival and online. I am projecting to make this documentary at least 45minutes long.
