Population isn’t the problem, the mismanagement is. Bangladesh is a fertile delta situated in the basin of some big rivers which drain into the Bay of Bengal. It’s natural for Bangladesh to have a large population. As example, the Netherlands has a similar landscape to Bangladesh and It's one of the most dense country in Europe.

Do people in Dhaka knows what cause heatwave? Do people in Dhaka know Dhaka is a heat trap? What is a heat trap ? Heat trap is where heat gets in and but heat does not go out easily. During daytime , heat gets in from the sun. Everything in the enviroment absorb this heat including buildings, roads , airs, water. Now , by night these significant amount of these consumed heat should have been passed underground or went above the air. But sadly, in Dhaka , the amount of buildings, roads, cars , even the new building materials are not heat friendly. The ground is no longer absorbing the heat and the pollution in the air is blocking the heat inside than going up . On top , the surrounding water bodies producing vapor, is making the air more humid and unbearable. Dhaka heat is not dry heat like deserts, it is moist heat like boiling steam.
