Thailand's streets have a lot to offer if one has some time in hand to explore. I started this day in Bangkok with a walking tour that my hostel organised for free- Mad Monkey Bangkok's Free walking tour took us to the Golden Mount - the only temple on a hill top in all of Bangkok - and I got to try out a local tradition here.
We then walked to the Giant Swing and through the Khao San Road. Later I headed to Chinatown, visited the temple of the Golden Buddha and got to learn it's interesting story, followed by a walk around Chinatown. I had the famous Rolled Noodle Soup at a Michelin restaurant here, before heading to Chao Phraya river for the evening.
I spent the evening at the ICON SIAM mall's huge food court, and then visited an Apple Store for the first time in my life.
