Bangkok Soi 39
I headed over to Bangkok Soi 39. This area in Phrom Phong has incredible condos and places to eat.
Here's a few links for my favorite credit cards. I try to check the links often, but let me know if there is a problem. If they change the offer on the card, I may need to update the link. Full disclosure, I get a few airline miles for referring a new customer. You should get the same public offer at no additional cost. Thank you very much.

Hey thanks for watching. More videos on the way.
Love these soi walkabouts. They are typical and extremely interesting. As a tourist, we walk by them so quickly but love to see this from a resident’s perspective

Another great video - I stayed at an Airbnb condo on Soi 39 for almost two months 4 years ago. I am 73 year old widower moving to Bangkok in few months. I'm not grouchy yet.😊

Ya man. I'm not grouchy either. Life is good. Many of the grouchy types were a jerk when they were 40 years old too. They just make me feel better about my life.
Very informative! Thanks

Greetings Joe, another amazing clear and scenic video of magnificent locations in Bangkok. You are correct on the use of space in Asia, very conservative. Surely Boon is well and having the time of her life in your company as well as her endeavors? You think that truck has enough mirrors, looking good though 😂? I have never seen so many electrical wires clustered together as such in Thailand, Wow. What model iPhone or Android are you using to film with? Happy Birthday 🎁🎈🎉 Joe! Thanks so much for sharing and I look forward to your next episode of adventures in Thailand 🇹🇭.

Yes, Turtle stores. I like them better than 7/11. They take a Visa with no 200b minimum.
Hey Joe, that back entrance with the tall black gates is where we will live “Phirom Gardens” … it’s actually on Soi 41. 3 bedroom is around 120K PM very large appartments. Great video 👍👍

I seem to remember either reading or hearing that mosquitoes do not fly higher than about the 8th floor of any building.

I don't have problems with mosquitoes even walking around. I guess I'm lucky. I leave all my windows open and don't even get flies. Of course I am up high.

I hope so. Just turned 58 and feeling good. I just did 20 laps in the pool. Trying to be somewhat healthy. I used to walk 5 or 6 miles a day carrying mail. This is a decent replacement, filming videos.
You might be confusing Lawson with Watson, the Australian owned pharmacy in Bangkok.

You might be right. The Lawson's I see are like a 7/11
I saw that La Rafine a few weeks ago on a rental site. They have plunge pools on the balconies. starts at 120k
@EagerExpat

That might even be a bait and switch price. I knew a guy who was paying 220k. Many of those sites online are just trying to get a new customer. You call about the 120K place, well that's gone, but we have a few 220K to see. It's gonna be out of my price range either way.
I work in hospitality Joe.... it's greater than 1% of people who seem to be a little "extra" If you a going to start quoting percentages please do your research 😂 1% gives peeeple hope

I've edited 8 videos since I made this. I have no idea what I said was 1%. Tipping? Or, I remember saying 1% of people were jerks? I'm not sure, but I'll take your word for it. There are some real characters out there. I was a mailman/veteran. If you were a jerk to us, we just threw your tax return away. Ha Ha. Problem solved. I'm kidding of course. But, don't piss off a mailman.

Most of that is old coax from cable TV and Internet. It's everywhere in Thailand. I've never touched it, but I think it's harmless.

@EagerExpat

I did on overtime. I did every route in PB. My route for 27 years was on Crown Point. I used to hang out at the Coaster Bar. But, that was in the 90's. Who was your mailman? I knew all those guys. And Barb was down there for years.

@@EagerExpat I moved out of MB in January of 1990 up to Victorville. I was just wondering if you delivered to that house on the boardwalk that was featured in that TV show "North Mission Beach". I lived 5 houses from that house. It was Skippy and Biff. I was wrong about the previous post "Who wants to marry a millionaire". It was Rick Rockwell and not Larry Himmel. Here is a clip of it: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pZ2czdaTerXgeqw.htmlsi=3HHAUYnmgVgjja64 Did you ever watch it? It was on on 1985 I believe.
