15k baht is cheap. A crown is the way to go. Would cost $1200 or more in the states. Ask them for the turnaround, usually they prep the base, give you a temporary while the crown is made (which often takes a few days).

No point in spending 15k on a crown when you can spend 30k for an implant that can last up to 30 years.

Yep. Not enough tooth surface to put a filling. Have to crown it.
