Your community post got me excited that it was real 😭. However, if I didn't already have the Bosch I might have bought one!
I’ve got the 12v Lidl plane, it’s as well built as you would expect from a supermarket tool but it’s great for interior trim work - fillers for built in furniture/kitchens etc. Nearest equivalent is the 12v Bosch but at a huge cost.
Would be a great little tool if you do a lot of arris planing. Ofc you'd wanna already be invested in the 12v platform for it to make sense imo. Cheers for showing us this!

I've been waiting for someone to say that...
It strongly resembles the Triton mini belt sander. It also resembles something else. The Triton, more so.

It looks exactly like the Triton corded power planer I have - and hate. The ergonomics are so bad it is actually painful to use. Some coworkers have tried it, too, all of them hated it.
Should've stuck s sausage in the output and show what happens. Screw thst tool. I like my fingers
