This is my favourite type of banger racing, the cars look as though they r straight off the road with windows and lights still in. Also the crashes are crisp and crunchy with good impacts.

I like how there is a large amounts of those ford kas. And they seem soo robust when they get hit, or when they hit. They just get thrown, but they get back up and continue circling the track.

I used to LOVE go-cart tracks and slick tracks until they said no more bumping. What the hells the point in taking away the fun? I quit going from that point forward.

Back in the day when I was a kid I saw a banger racing contest here in Russia. The only difference was the cars were stripped, had roll cages, meshes instead on usual windows, as well as forced engines. For some reason they didn’t have those hood clips (I think that’s what they’re called) so once the hood opened and hit the roof on one of the cars in the middle of the race. Too bad they don’t hold such events here no more

I went to a demo derby and the damnedest thing happened, it turned into a race.

This looks like a lot of fun. Hey LISTEN!! Im an investor, and i think you have something here. I see this sorta thing being BIG!! I mean HUGE!!! Imagine...cars with professional decals, numbers, and sponsorships all over them as they near 200 m.p.h. with a skybox, concessions, and grandstands. It'll be GREAT!!! Best part!! Nooooo ruuuuuuulllllllleeeeeeessssss.

You need some mechanical skills. Welding. Cars need a roll cage. Side bars. Some kind of race transporter. Plenty of UK races all over. But even this kind of racing isn't cheap. Expect a few £k and the ability to read and carry out required modifications. And a strong neck and back. I gave a car away for banger racing. The man who took it had his own 5 tonne transporter, was a qualified hgv engineer and was on £40k a year.
