In this Video I will be showing you the longest road trip by far is our trip to Orissa (Odisha) from #bangalore covering #jagannath Puri, #konarklive enroute #vizag , #vijayawada #chittoor . We covered total 4000kms from North India to East India. It was a 1week tour.
The planning was crucial, freezing the vacation dates, leave approvals from my office's. All along for #4000 kms, My husband was in the driver's seat. This demands more physical fitness and mental strength. The preparation for fitness started a couple of weeks prior to the trip itself.
We Drove 850 kms in a single Day .We woke up early, we hit the road by 4AM. Then it was a one loonggg drive, enroute small towns, villages on our way...., He went on driving...., Crossed Tirupati, Nellore, Ongole, we crossed Vijayawada somewhere around 3 pm and reached #rajahmundry around 6.30 PM. we had brought packed food from home that could last atleast a day, so we didnt eat outside on day 1... the day was completely spent on the Highway.
After a long drive for more than 17 hrs, we reached the hotel, we were extremely tired, checked in and went to rest.
we started early from Rajahmundry on day2 and covered 650 Kms in 13 Hours. #andhrapradesh is one of the largest and widest state in India, and when both #telengana and AP were a single state, it used to take 1.5 to 2 days by train to cross this state. We crossed Godavari districts - There is East Godavari and there's West #godavari enroute to Orissa, we crossed both these districts...We crossed #srikakulam .
We were around the exteriors of AP and before Orissa, we were extremely hungry it was around 2.30 pm,so made Veg Sandwich by Parking our Creta on service road.

Around 4 pm we had crossed AP and reached the Orissa Border.., it was time to take drone shots and few pics. India is a land of diversified place.., the climate in Orissa was pretty cold.., and the previous week, temperature recorded were very low...., the nights were long, days were short...Immediately after 5 pm the sky was getting dark but we reached our hotel Mayfair Heritage ,Puri on VIP road by 6pm. Placed our luggage in room and went to see attached sea beach "Niladri Beach". it was so clean and lovely beach.....and came back to Hotel had dinner and slept as we had to wake up early next day for Shri Jagannath Puri Darshan...
By day 4, waking up at one city, lunching at some small town, getting to bed at a hotel in another city another state has become common.
As #purihotels have very odd checkout timings 8.am we had to switch our hotel to another as heritage doesn’t have any room vacant as its Monday today and temple was closet yesterday so more n more devotees are approaching to have #darshan of their deity.
So, we waked up at 3 and got ready by 4 a.m and booked an auto till #puritemple charges were 150 for 2 people. it took 15 minutes to reach temple from our hotel and after reaching the temple one queue was there and soon it became 3 and by 6.30 it was 5 queues full of devotees. #mangalaarti we heard while in queue and soon after it darshan has started at 6.45 a.m , we had very grand vision of lord jagannath and lit diya outside temple ( desicnated place for liting diya )there also has one devi shakti peetham inside jagannath temple among other small small temples. We came out by 7.15 a.m and went back to hotel for breakfast and had some rest and again came back for the shoot as camera and phones are not allowed inside jagannath temple premises.
Then After Lunch we headed to world famous #suntemple , Konark.
The temple is dedicated to The Sun #god . the structure of the chariot and their wheels are a stunning masterpiece., it's a gigantic structure., just two eyes aren't enough to explore its beauty..., took couple of rounds to cover the entire temple...,
Undoubtedly Konark was the top most attraction of our trip...
