All across Bharat.....This Black & White or Black & Yellow paint on dividers or foot path looks pathetic......Instead focus must be on lane marking, Zebra crossing!!

Agree. Not just that, all across India its clear that someone, some laborer, has manually drawn a line and painted over them. No crisp straight lines. Looks amateurish job. When we look at Dubai, Singapore, the US, Switzerland, all of rest of Europe, even places in South East Asia, such things are done so crisp. When done well, it adds a crisp, sophisticated look to the city. Small things like this matter a lot. I just happened to look at a few videos of Indian cities today, after last being in India almost 20 years ago. While a lot has improved in India, unfortunately the first impression that hit me is that I am looking at a lower end/dumpy/unwanted scary/ghetto part of some run-down western city. And these are Bangalore and New Bombay videos that I saw, which are supposed to be the better cities in India. That 'Chalta Hai' attitude shows in the finer details.
