Dave,,I want to correct you here on the story of Bang PD forgetting V' s name. This was in the very beginning, when there were a lot of trainees and the group was being formed. This clip is from a Bangtan Bomb episode where the members were confessing and telling things they were frustrated about...roasting the managers and Bang PD, etc. It was done in fun..they were all laughing and smiling the entire episode. Go back and watch it..

This is kinda long so i appooguise.. I've worked with many idols backstage and What many people don't realise is that the "normal world" and the "idol world" are not the same. Idols from a young age are not only put into the spotlight, but in many ways isolated from the the "real world" and aren't able to have that same social interactions and privacy where as the majority are free to walk down the street, spend time with friends etc... the same way "normal people" and although it sounds cruel to allow them to see hate comments (and many times advised not to look things up) if they are babyed and have things hidden but only shown good things from them it actually makes things worst when they go out in the "real world" and suddenly see these things. The only timee companies try to keep things from them a things like stalkers and death threats which are dealt with by the company privately. Many times the public get angry when a company isnt speaking about an idol getting threats or stalked is because its dealt with privately with authorities and making public statements actually harms investigations.

it's good and bad to let them see the 'hate', if they talked to the girls first and said, this is the real world and this is what you're going to have to deal with on a day to day bases. You are going to have to learn to deal with it, come to your managers or your teammates to vent if you have to, don't bottle it up. But yes baby them to a point, but this is the real world, and the enterainment industry is toxic no matter where in the world you are..SK, US, RUSSIAN, CHINA..no matter where they are. I doubt that Bang PD 'forgot' V...this is a rumor that goes around and around and around. OMG. I am wearing a white shirt...I'm dating alllllllll the boys LOL. I am breathing the same air as some actor, we're dating. People are so silly.

why would it be a stunt? i don´t get it it should never be okay to hate om idols or anyone else. People are idiots. This is a corporation. They are working in a corporate setting where they need to act like adults. Its a job. There are usually many tiers to go through in bigger corporations. If you want to talk to a higher up you go through HR and request a meeting. The parents also enabled this behaviour. Plus we have MHJ taking them down with her. The outlook is pretty grim as NJ will always be associated with her. If this is a publicity stunt then they are sactificing the girls. I mean a publicity stunt is really just a misdirection. "Look over here!". And no one questions what they are doing when you aren't looking. Highly effective and one of the strongest tools at their disposal. We won't ever know though. This is highly likely to pull attention for quite some time.

If a boss does not remember his groups and members, he is a disgusting and ignorant person. There's no point in creating groups if you don't remember them. Or maybe you need to communicate with members more often? As they say about Hybe, skeletons came out of the closet. Fans will blindly defend an agency that treats its idols rudely.

Hate is not good and I do not approve of it. I saw that some people took her photos and wrote that she was Jimins girlfrend even though she said she was not his girlfriend. Everyone can have the same jewelry as their idol,sitting at a match away from your partner what for is your boyfriend, everyone can take a photo at a cafe or like the same flowers or movies - that was the case in 2023 but now its a bit scary. The actress didnt think everything through since she wrote earlier that she didint know Jimin and it was in 2023. Disown your own boyfriend😢 The person who was haiting I bit understand if she denied why she is now editing photos that are on the internet, its not fair towards Jimin who cares about his privacy. If shes not afraid of hate, why did she delete everything on the same day? When it happened with V it was when he was a trainee and PD Bang was working with a lot of trainees at the time. It wasn't until closer to their debut that many of the other trainees were let go due to financial cuts. Bang PD took V's claim with good humor and told him that he knows him now and to let it go. It was all done in good humor. It's entirely different with NJ... who he didn't work with at all because MHJ wanted to be the only one working with them.

Your comment about Bang PD not knowing V is disapppointing. It was before he was confirmed as a member. There actually were many many other trainees that didn't make it. BTS said it was hard to see people come and go in the dorm. It wouldn't be unusual for PD-nim not to remember V.

I had people I worked closely with that I would blank on who they were. I was often dealing with many people at one time so it got jumbled. That clip of V calling him out about it is so old. I can bet no one forgets his name now!

It's not about it dear, they all are free to have relationships, consider Taennie for once, it was most prolly a mutual thing cause none of the two did something for clout chasing, here Jimin doesn't have a single idea of what's going on, he doesn't have access to all this drama and no significant partner or lover would disclose a relationship while the other one is busy, it'll bring hate to both the sides

You're correct, but still not fully explaining the why. While Tae was a trainee, he was working with an agency, not BigHit, that because he wasn't a solid pick for the final 7 BTS, Bang had to keep his trainee position a secret. Bang, through a contract, had to NOT know V! There were many pre-debut instances where V tagged along with BTS, but wasn't allowed in photos of them. Specifically, several debut incidences occurred which Suga made a point to pull V into group frame and/or include him, as BigHit staff was used to excluding V. I see this banter, which was a roast of BigHit staff, that allowed V to publicly and playfully "call out" Bang for not recognizing him!!! As every other member took turns to "calling out" BigHit staff for everything, from food, to choreography, to clothes!!!! I believe Suga called out Bang, as well. It's as simple as that! 😂 😂 😂 😂

He was just a student, he didn't have any kind of contract and he didn't think of becoming an idol. Bighit offered him a contract and his family accepted. V has never signed with any agency other than Bighit.
