I purchased a Beomaster 4400 in 1978. Superb piece of equipment. Sadly, it developed an intermittent noisiness in one channel in 1989. The only person who could diagnose it said that some of the transistors had become noisy, and wanted $250 to repair it. I replaced it with a Beomaster 6500.

Peter Winkler Hi Peter is the 4400 worth £300 now in mint condition. ? I'm torn between Revox B-780 Or The Bang & Olufsen 4400
