BANFF
Banff has definitely a special place in our memories!
We spend two days with lovely Charlynn, helping her making gelato!
We buy a car and start exploring the area: Johnson Lake, Two Jack Lake and the still frozen Lake Minnewanka, with cool candlestick ice!!
Night at Tunnel Mountain Campground then incredible views from Tunnel Mountain Summit before to start our drive along Route 93!
STANLEY GLACIER TRAIL
Very icy and snowy trail, we hiked up 3.5km before to turn back, but that was enough to get some of the best views ever and marvel at the avalanches falling off no stop Stanley Peak!!!
MARBLE CANYON
Easy short hike in the Kootenay NP, along the deep and beautiful Marble Canyon!
FERNIE
Night at North Star Lake, then we reach Fernie and our friend Barbara! Together we cross a river, climb up a mountain, jump over a couple of creeks, have a little encounter with a moose…to finally reach a huuuuge amazing ammonite fossil!!!
OSOYOOS
Another beautiful night by a Nancy Greene Lake then off to Osoyoos tasting delicious wine
