One of the most beautiful tourist destination...
As always great video,we did this hike June 29th 2019, i think for how short and easy it is,it's amazing how much it has to offer. To avoid the masses we started at about 8 pm and still had plenty of time to spare and only ran into dozens of people instead of hundreds.
Amazing camera work! I cant watch a million of these

Anyone planning to go to Johnston Canyon the summer of 2020. The roads are closed for the season, you will have to walk or bike in to the trail head.
U put so much editing work in this i could’ve sworn u had more subs
Wat mooit hoor
Those are awesome places but in Alberta, in Calgary, you can drive out to Banff and Jasper, to see the beautiful surroundings but also be back home the same day. Now we could also go to BC but that is a multi day adventure. it is harder to do.
Beautiful video. When at Moraine lake, do your best to observe the signs to not go off trail at the rock pile.
I'm judging by the lack of snow around on the peaks that this is aug or sept ... I've been there in sept , very dry and not a lot of snowy peaks left , so I started going in June/July , much better, a lot of snow on the peaks still as well as good weather , on a 3 week trip we experienced probably 3 or 4 days of rain. Not bad at all & forest fire smoke can certainly put a damper on things , usually they are not a problem until mid summer if at all. A lot of bears with cubs around in June ,beginning of July ,we would check out the weekly sightings which is updated every other week & drive to those spots for wildlife viewing , works like a charm! Marmot basin in Jasper was great for bear viewing as well as maligne lake road , we saw bear , big horn sheep at medicine lake on the side of the road , saw a moose ,lots of Elk & deer & spirit island boat trip ,wow what a gem that was! We would take a trip up maligne lake road every other night during our stay in Jasper. We saw probably 30 mountain goats on the ice field parkway as well as momma bear and cubs , even saw a lone wolf at sunset dart across the hwy. Great videos btw I just love the Canadian Rockies it's heaven! Emerald lake yoho , moraine lake in Banff ugh , "heaven" lol. Thanks for posting !
Hi Zach, all of your videos for you Alberta trip captured so nicely. Amazing work..!! May I ask you to share itinerary for Banff - Jasper - YOHO parks? Thank you.

drones arnt allowed in canadian national parks
How did you create that fast video shutter effect in your intro? Where it scrolls through your videos really fast. I tried searching online and came up empty.
Amazing video, Zach. Do you shot this with drone?

Most of these shorts are on a gimbal or handheld.
How far from johnstone canyon to lake Minewanka?
how many bears did you encounter???
@Zach.Richardson
6 жыл бұрын
We saw one bear in Glacier national park during our trip. We toured mostly the heavily visited paths which probably contributed to our low bear count.
How to get to lake Minnewanka from Johnston Canyon?

Jennie we rented a car and these are two easy places to access off highway one. Hope that helps.
The to loud music is annoying....with such beauty , why any music ?
Is this a documentary, or entertainment? Enough with the whooshing graphics already.

@@Zach.Richardson Ivan - if you don't like the music turn the volume down and open another youtube tab with "Chill Day" by Lakey Inspired for your soundtrack. That's what I did and really adds a sense of relaxation when taking in Zach's epic footage of Banff's beautiful lakes. Peace!
